Dr. Carrie McMillin began her medical training at a traditional medical school in Detroit, Michigan, but soon found that naturopathic medicine was more in line with her approach to helping patients. So she and her family moved to Seattle, where she completed her medical training at Bastyr University. Today she is a licensed naturopathic physician in Washington state.
Dr. McMillin has an extensive medical background and aside from her current practice, she has worked in clinical research, pharmaceutical writing, laboratory medicine, and physician education. This diverse training gives her a truly integrative and holistic medical approach, pulling the best practices from both allopathic and naturopathic medicine.
A combination of a fascination with neuroscience along with navigating the world of ADHD and neurodivergence with her own family, led Dr. Carrie to create a practice specializing in working with people with ADHD. She is passionate about helping children and adults gain control over their lives through accurate diagnosis and a better understanding of how their awesome brains work.
Dr. McMillin lives in the beautiful mountains of Washington with her husband, three children, and far too many animals to list.

As the spouse and mother of some amazing people with ADHD, I understand the day-to-day struggles of many of my patients. Most areas of medicine--particularly ADHD-- should not have a 'one size fits all' approach. There is an extremely wide spectrum of treatments for ADHD and my job is to help find what works for the individual (and often the family) sitting in front of me.
